Plug both ends of a 3-pin XLR cable into the ports on the tester and press the buttons—if the lights come on, you have continuity. If a light or lights do not light up or if you push one button and multiple lights come on, the cable needs to be repaired or replaced.
The tester features LED lights for minimal power draw and extended battery life.
The device also has a battery compartment that lets you replace the batteries without having to disassemble the case.
The Pyrodigital Cable Tester uses standard 9-volt batteries.
